Tomorrow (4-22-11) is Earth Day! Here’s a short list of some simple things you can do to help reduce our carbon footprint on our earth. 1. Pledge an act of green at earthday.org. 2. Bring your own bag to the grocery store. 3. Stop buying bottled water. 4. Use cloth napkins at the dinner table. 5. Unplug your cell phone chargers 6. Purchase a tree or tree sapling and plant it 7. – Most personal shopping bags hold 3 times the amount of products a conventional plastic bag holds. Hey that’s less for you to carry and less plastic thrown away.

– Cell phone, laptop and other transformer chargers continue to use electricity even after you unplug the object you were charging. The easiest solution is to put all your chargers on a surge protector and switch all of them off when they are not in use.

– Keeps Starbucks from using another one of their paper cups. Most places offer a discount to customers that bring their own cups.
