An agency in my hometown is being forced to relocate their building. It’s a day program that works with adults age 16+ who have developmental disabilities. This place is called “The Centre For D.R.E.A.M.S.” and it allows it’s members to live life to the fullest. D.R.E.A.M.S. is an acronym for “Development Relationship with Exceptional Adults in Modern Society” And that’s what these people are. They are exceptional and instead of sitting at home watching TV all day, they are able to learn new skills, meet new people and have a hope that they can do anything they set their minds to. They are given a chance that most people won’t give them.

They are an organizational dedicated to helping and serving but in order to keep doing this, they need to find a new building. Like most agencies, they don’t have a lot of funding and therefore can’t afford a new building so their proposing something.

Take 10 minutes to tell 10 friends to donate 10 dollars.

10 10 10.

It’s simple and breeds community. $10 isn’t much. it’s the cost of a dinner out, or a new CD or book.
