There’s a celebrity auction in progress for Porter’s Call, a non-profit aimed at helping struggling musicians find stability in the Music City.
Porter’s Call is a group that works with recording artists and their families to create a safe and caring atmosphere within the struggles of career development in Nashville, TN. Since 2001, the staff of Porter’s Call have helped more than 500 artists including Katie Herzig,Francesca Battistelli, and Andy Smith of Paper Route with everything from counseling, support groups, financial guidance, and spiritual healing all at no charge to the artist. Happening now (September 11-18) Porters Call has opened an Ebay auction in which several local artists and supporters have donated their time and/or possessions to raise money for Porter’s Call’s efforts.
